ABOUT DOMINIQUE RENAUD
Born in 1959 in Besançon, Dominique Renaud is a major figure in modern watchmaking, renowned for four decades of innovation. A descendant of a prestigious watchmaking lineage, he began his career at Audemars Piguet before co-founding Renaud & Papi in 1986—a company that became a reference in the development of complications for Haute Horlogerie brands. After selling his company, he pursued new opportunities, combining freelance projects with personal endeavors. A free spirit, Driven by a relentless curiosity and a deep respect for craftsmanship, Renaud has always valued collaboration, particularly with young talents such as Julien Tixier, with whom he launched the Renaud Tixier brand in 2023 under the Manufacture Dominique Renaud. This multi-faceted organization embodies his values through a range of watchmaking projects. In 2025, a collective initiative to preserve and promote his exceptional heritage leads to the creation of his Foundation.
